As you can see from the front cover we have a few important events happenings over the next few days. In the event of rain or showers we intend to continue on with our “In the Scrub” Art Display and if need be move the display indoors. All parents and families are welcome to come tomorrow to view the children’s art displays as well as the original Pro Hart “In the Scrub” painting. Our Arts Teachers have been working very hard with the children to share their joy with you. Our 2nd event involves our Choir who will be away on Thursday combining with other school choirs at St Peter’s College for a Choir Day. More...

P&F Eco Fundraiser
We have had a good response to out Term 2 fundraiser – Enviro Trend Eco Bags. Don’t forget the class that sells the most bags will get iceblocks and the highest individual seller will get a movie ticket. Please return you form and money to the office or you child’s teacher. Delivery of bags will be at the beginning of next term.

APRE News:
I have spent the past two weeks at conferences. One week involved ‘Futures Education’, looking at what students will need to be ‘equipped’ with to succeed in school, the workforce and life in the future. Once upon a time the focus was purely on IQ, more recently EQ (emotional intelligence) has been given credence but the latest focus is on SQ, spiritual intelligence, and developing children’s creativity.
