Parents as Primary Educators of their Children

As a school within Brisbane Catholic Education we believe that education is a partnership between the school and the home. It is important that both work together and that there is consistency in approach and standards.

As part of that partnership, we welcome the involvement of parents in school life. The way in which parents may contribute to their child’s education varies widely, depending on the age of the child and the skills and commitments of the parents.
Parents may be invited to take part in a range of classroom activities and excursions, as well as at events in support of the school.

On enrolment of your child, parents are members of the Parents and Friends Association who contribute to school and student development in this way.

A wide range of support mechanisms is available to families of students with special needs. We seek to work with families to develop the most appropriate pathways for each individual student.
