Pathways to Leading Secondary Schools

At Holy Family Primary School, we’re not just a school; we’re a community deeply invested in each child’s educational journey and overall well-being. We understand that education is a continuous adventure that extends well beyond the primary years, shaping the future of our young learners. That’s why we’ve embraced a holistic approach to education, empowering our students not only with academic excellence but with the confidence to embrace challenges, ignite curiosity, and foster a lifelong love of learning.

A Seamless Transition to Secondary Education

We recognise that transitioning from primary to secondary school is a significant milestone in a student’s life. Therefore, we have fostered strong collaborative relationships with neighbouring institutions, Brigidine College and Ambrose Treacy College. Our partnership is anchored in a shared commitment to educational excellence and seamless progression for our students.

To facilitate a smooth and supportive transition, Holy Family Primary School has a memorandum of understanding in place with leading independent secondary colleges in the local area:
  • Brigidine College allows for the deferral of Year 5 enrolment, ensuring that our students can join directly into Year 7.
  • Ambrose Treacy College grants the option of deferring Year 4 enrolment for direct entry into Year 7.
These agreements are a testament to our proactive planning for our students’ educational trajectories, providing peace of mind for families considering the best options for their children’s secondary education.
